These are the first Meg Cabot books I’ve read and I really have enjoyed them. Jun 25, Anu rated it really liked it. Jul 10, Kristi rated it really liked it Shelves: Cinderella Ate My Daughter. Who apparently likes to get a little touchy feely with the choir girls, if you know what I mean. Heather Mills is a former teen singing sensation who is working as a Biy Hall administrative assistant, and happens to find herself in some precarious situations. Even though this series is cheesy and unlikely I have to admit I’m kind of hooked.
The conclusion spirals more into romance, however, as the killer is long since carted off and the novel just keeps going. Fortunately she grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, where few people voned aware of the stigma of bbig a fire horse — at least until Meg became bigg teenager, when she flun Librarian note: The books are easy to read, yet Cabot still manages to weave a clever mystery into them, so the answers don’t leap out of the page at you.
There’s been such a build-up this entire series on when they were going to get together and it was incredibly anti-climactic. I believe this series is being toted as “mystery”, but there’s not much sleuthing going on in this book. The third in the Heather Wells cozy mystery series, and the first caobt I have read, Big Boned is a rollicking cozy mystery mixed with comedy and the better moments of college life.
Of course it’s bigg one is waiting for, but the lovely tension is now gone and I’m afraid that by the end of the last one they’ll be like an old married couple, or even bickering and doubting each other, having boring problems Now, if only the author would do something about this character’s atrocious eating habits.
