Great read Glritzman you could sum up Boy Overboard in three words, what would they be? This book was written to express sympathy for the people that have fled their country. Before Morris began his writing career as a screenwriter, and wrote his first children’s novel in The funniest part was when jamal got kicked on the leg by the pirate because he took the ball away from the pirate.

When I was eight. I give this book a well deserved 5 stars out of They were obsessed – we flew through this and there were so many incredible discussions that arose from it! The story makes you want read more and more. Jamal, his younger sister Bibi, and his parents have to flee Afghanistan when their small home based school for boys and girls is discovered.
However, I got hooked on the story and ended up having a few tears. Because in the book there was a man that acted good but later in the story the man betrays the boy and his family. Using the fact that the author had never been a refugee will only get you so far, as the book also points out that Morris interviewed and met refugees.
